Voice your opinion about departure of SVHS principal

Sonoma Valley High School Principal Dino Battaglini resigned last week and the Sonoma Valley Unified School District board of trustees granted him an immediate leave of absence for the remainder of the school year. Battaglini’s contract expires June 30.

The school district offered no reason for Battaglini’s sudden departure after 2 1/2 years as principal.

An interim principal, district Director of Curriculum and Instruction Lynn Fitzpatrick, is on the job and extended parents an opportunity to stop by the school office for coffee and introductions.
