Saturday, February 23rd, 2013 | Posted by | one response

“Art of the Mushroom,” a special photography exhibition featuring images of wild mushrooms by Paul Kozal, will be on view at Chateau St. Jean Feb. 23-24 during the Pinot & Mushroom Weekend.

The winery is located at 8555 Hwy. 12, Kenwood.

Meet the artist and enjoy complimentary small bites from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23. Wines by the glass or flight will be available for purchase during the opening reception.

Other events at the winery include pairings of pinot noir and mushrooms with special wine and mushroom flights in the tasting room, a mushroom-centric marketplace, lectures on fungi, a station-to-station tasting experience and an “Earthly Wonders” luncheon.

Admission is free for the edible and artistic mushroom events.

For information or an event schedule, visit chateaustjean.com or call (877) 478-5326.

Kozal’s mushroom prints are available online at artofthemushroom.com.
