Two suspected gang members were in custody Sunday after police found them with spray paint cans in a small Santa Rosa park marred by freshly painted gang graffiti, police said.

Officers called to Live Oak Park in west Santa Rosa about 6:30 p.m. Sunday found two men with red spray paint. Several items in the park were marked by red gang tangs, including a slide, police said. They arrested Robert Decoite, 18, and Montanez Moreno, 24, both of Santa Rosa, on suspicion of felony vandalism and felony gang-participation charges. Moreno remained in custody Monday morning with bail at $75,000. Decoite apparently had been released on bail.
